Jul 22, 2021 · An AC CA8 loader is a Freeman pipe loader with the subframe to fit a CA . The trip handle and stands are 1/2" pipe, the stands have a short pice of angle iorn at the bottom. Sometimes you dont need a return spring. If you dont have a full bucket when dumped, it does not return with the spring.

Around here, common loader for the WD is the Paulson brand, and its trip latch has three positions for the locking pin to fit into, easily angling the bucket down to dig into the ground.

We used to have a WD-45 years ago, but only have a C, CA and D17 right now. The CA is still set up with the planters and side-dress assmbly. We still put in corn and peas with it.

Cylinder on each side with a steel cable controlled trip bucket that I rigged up. 6" bucket, narrow front and no power steering. Not very fancy, but it worked to clear a 75 yard driveway of a broke 28 year old dude living in the sticks of Iowa!
